Safety

AaLadin is committed to manufacturing safe, quality cleaning systems.

  • AaLadin Manufactures pressure washers that are listed to UL-1776 & CSA-B140.11 standards.
  • AaLadin has completed testing required to qualify for the ETL & C-ETL marks.
  • AaLadin uses (NRTL), Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory, to have our units tested.

In order to ensure your safety, our machines are thoroughly tested and certified by an OSCHA accredited laboratory.  Compliance testing includes:

  • Maximum Pressure Tests: Verifies output performance of machine
  • Abnormal Operation Tests: Verifies protection from risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  • Hydrostatic Pressure and Strength Test: Verifies pressure test to twice the rated pressure relief device.
  • Leakage Current Testing Following Humidity Conditioning: Verifies leakage current to be less than .5mA following exposure to 48 hours of conditioning at 88 +/- 2% humidity at a temperature of 90 +/- 4 degrees F.
  • Dielectric Voltage-Withstand Test:  Verifies ability of electrical conductors to withstand 1000 volts +2 times the operating voltage.
  • Flooding Tests: Verifies ability of equipment to pass the Dielectric Voltage - Withstand Test after being flooded with 5 gpm of water over the entire surface of the machine for a duration of 10 minutes.
  • Over-Voltage Test:  Verifies ability of the equipment to withstand 1.3 times the rated voltage without breakage, release, or loosening of a part that could result in a risk of injury to persons.
  • Combustion Test: Verifies ability of the equipment to comply with the ignition and combustion requirements.
  • Under voltage Test: Verifies ability of equipment to fire and stabilize while run at 85% of rated voltage.
  • Stability Test:  Verifies ability of the equipment to maintain the upright position while subjected to various degrees of inclined angles and tipping though various angles.

What is the ETL Listed Mark?

The ETL Listed Mark is accepted and recognized by jurisdictions throughout the United States and Canada.  In addition, its testing and certification programs are recognized by the three major model building code agencies: BOCA, ICBO and SBCCI under National Evaluation Reports QA'219 AND tL-513.  These agencies establish building codes and standards which most municipalities and states adopt.

Why buy Listed Machines?

Product safety compliance for work place products is a legal requirement.  US and Canada Law Requires Listing by an Accredited Testing Laboratory.

To demonstrate compliance with product safety requirements, for products destined to the workplace, testing and certification by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (U.S.) or a Testing Organization/Certification Organization (Canada) are effective.

For example, in the U.S. OSHA Section 1910.399 states, "Electronic equipment is acceptable...if it is...listed...by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NTRL)..."  Use of equipment in the workplace which is not "acceptable" is a violation of federal law.

Select laboratories which have passed OSHA's stringent accreditation procedures can be designed as NRTLs with the right to issue necessary listings.
